Izuba means "sun" in Kirundi. The washing station sits in the hills of Runinya, Kayanza Province, where over 1,400 producers contribute cherry. Processing is meticulous: hand-sorting, a pre-pulp float, underwater fermentation for around 12 hours, and slow drying over 15–20 days on raised beds. The result is a beautifully clean, fruit and floral forward cup.
