Do you have a bake worth sharing with the world?

Our Great Brighton Bake-Off is back for a second year and it's your chance to showcase your skills, creativity, and love of baking. We’re calling on home bakers across the community to rise to the challenge and share their best original creations.

From special sourdoughs to indulgent cakes, cookies, and brownies, this competition is all about celebrating flavour, craft, and imagination.

Competition Categories

Special Sourdough & Leavened Breads
Special Loaves, baguettes, and naturally leavened breads made under the Real Bread ethos (no additives or preservatives). Please note, breads need to be flavoured to count as 'special' and we won't be accepted entries featuring plain loaves. 

Sweets
Cakes, cookies, brownies, slices, and tarts - show us your signature bake!

Enter one or both categories. The more creativity, the better.

*Please note, if entering both categories you will need to fill out two separate applications.

Timeline

-Entries Open: Monday September 7th
-Entries Close: Monday October 5th
-Judging Sessions: 19th to 30th of October 
-Winners Announced: 2nd to 13th of November

How to enter

1.Select your category (or both!)

2. Tell us about your bake including name, description, and ingredient list (allergens highlighted).

3. Upload a photo of your product. 

4. Fill in your contact details so we can reach you if you’re shortlisted.

Shortlisted bakers will be invited to bring their bakes to a live judging session for tasting, feedback, and scoring.
